ÐãÉ«Ö±²¥

The ÐãÉ«Ö±²¥ Global Health Scholars – Undergraduate program offers ÐãÉ«Ö±²¥ undergraduate students the opportunity to learn about and gain global health experience through participation in research projects. During the summer, each Global Health Scholar is involved in a global health project either at an international or northern Canadian site or in Montreal or Gatineau, under the supervision and mentorship of a ÐãÉ«Ö±²¥ faculty member. ÐãÉ«Ö±²¥ Global Health Programs (GHP) provides a $3,000 stipend, and, if applicable, an additional $3,000 to cover travel.  

During the academic year following their summer project, Global Health Scholars benefit from a variety of educational, training and networking opportunities organized by GHP, including the Insight Nights seminar series designed specifically for Global Health Scholars, GHP's annual Global Health Night event, complimentary access to the ÐãÉ«Ö±²¥ Summer Institutes in Global Health, and other activities.

• Call for student applications opens: January 6, 2026
• Online Information Session: January 20, 2026, 12:00-1:00 PM
• Application Deadline: February 8, 2026 (11:59 PM EST)
• Evaluation period and interviews (if applicable): February-March 2026
• Announcement of results to all applicants: March 20, 2026
