Placement Test – Health and Social Services
Would you like to take French courses in the health and social services sector? You must complete an online placement test specifically designed for this field. This test assesses your level of French to guide you toward the appropriate course.
The placement test includes three steps:
Step 1 - Written Test
- Online test available at any time
- Maximum duration: 90Â minutes (depending on your proficiency level)
- Complete the test without any external help (e.g., online tools, AI, books, personal notes, etc.)
- Select: Placement Test – Health and Social Services

Step 2 - Individual Oral Interview
- Interview on Zoom, registration required
- Duration: 5 to 10 minutes depending on your level (plan for up to an hour of waiting; first come, first served)
- Upon registration, you will receive a confirmation with the Zoom link for your session
Step 3 - Registration
Once you’ve completed the placement test and received your permit, register on Minerva.
Note: For the Faculty of Medicine, registration is done through the Student Records Office.
