This workshop teaches participants how to balance confidence and professionalism with dynamic physical and vocal presence. Specifically, participants will learn the importance of gestures and vocal variety; as well as how to use physical space, naming and props.

Come join us in this hands-on crafty workshop where you will brainstorm an IDP vision statement and use collaging to make a vision board. Workshop goers will have the opportunity to digitally or physically collage to make a vision board to stay on track with their goals!

This workshop dives deeply into how to practice more effectively and how to get better feedback for your presentation while you prepare. We鈥檒l review why watching a video of yourself is so painful for most people and how to work around the feeling to make the most of this tool for self-review.

Now that you have a grasp on how much money you need, this workshop will focus on the "deal". You'll learn what a venture capital fund is, its structure and how they operate, and what venture capitalists (VCs) look for in an early-stage innovation-driven venture. You'll also learn about the typical elements of a term sheet in connection with equity investments and simple agreements for future equity (SAFEs), and caveats when raising money. Finally, we'll explain how a capitalization table works and finish off with a brief overview of minority shareholder rights.
