(NEW) UNHCR Internally Displaced People (IDP) Unit (Geneva, Switzerland)

UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, is a global organization dedicated to saving lives, protecting rights and building a better future for people forced to flee their homes because of conflict and persecution. The IDP Unit sits within the Solutions and Field Supports Service within the Division of International Protection and Solutions at UNHCR HQ in Geneva. The Unit provides technical support and guidance to field colleagues across IDP operations through developing policy, guidelines and tools, facilitating learning and development events, and coordinating and working with colleagues and partners to enhance the prevention, mitigation and response strategies to protect IDPs.
