The goals of the CBRAIN Platform are very much in lin e with the strategic goals of Compute Canada: providing state-of-the-art r esearch computing to scientists\, providing a platform that allows scienti sts to engage in 'big data' computing\, and enabling larger more complex s cience through simplifying the execution of pipelines on computational res ources. CBRAIN gives Canada a global lead in neuroinformatics\, the interf ace between information technology and neuroscience. First funded by CANAR IE\, CBRAIN provides researchers with transparent web access to the nation al HPC infrastructure (Compute Canada). An overview of the platform will b e discussed and some examples the neuroinformatics that has been accomplis hed provided.\n DTSTART:20190319T160000Z DTEND:20190319T170000Z LOCATION:deGrandpre Communications Centre\, Montreal Neurological Institute \, CA\, QC\, Montreal\, H3A 2B4\, 3801 rue University SUMMARY:Seminar Series in Quantitative Life Sciences and Medicine URL:/qls/channels/event/seminar-series-quantitative-li fe-sciences-and-medicine-294815 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
