Palliative Care 秀色直播 research uses both qualitative and quantitative methodologies to create and share the knowledge that underpins good听quality of life and quality of care for people living with a life-limiting illness.
Our research focuses on a broad range of palliative care concerns for both the pediatric and adult populations with various life-limiting illnesses: the needs of patients and their families, bereavement, volunteers, ethics, and health care delivery.
Our researchers are either practicing clinicians or work closely with practicing clinicians to ensure the relevance of our projects, to foster the exchange of ideas, and to provide top-quality supervision to graduate students, residents, and postdoctoral fellows in various disciplines.
Affiliated Research Labs
, run by Dr. Justin Sanders, employs a mix of palliative care physicians, researchers, and students to produce quality research with the aim of "to advance the science and practice of high-quality relationship building between people affected by serious illness and their care providers."
, part of the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence, is "dedicated to improving the science of palliative care through actionable research initiatives based on an interprofessional approach," with projects that "must benefit patients and families and palliative care practice in general."
