Title: The local logarithmic Brunn-Minkowski inequality for bodies of revolution
础产蝉迟谤补肠迟:听The conjectured logarithmic Brunn-Minkowski inequality is a stronger聽version of the classical Brunn-Minkowski inequality, that has many聽applications in convex geometry, stochastis and other fields of聽mathematics. In my recent work, I prove a local version of the聽logarithmic Brunn-Minkowski inequality for one body of revolution and聽one arbitrary body. Equality cases are discussed and some consequences聽such as the logarithmic Minkowski inequality and the uniqueness of the聽cone volume measure for bodies of revolution are deduced. The proof uses聽an operator theoretic approach together with the decomposition of聽spherical functions into isotypical components with respect to rotations聽around a fixed axis.
