The Marvin Duchow Music Library occupies 3 floors of the , located on the lower downtown campus, a couple of blocks east of ÐãÉ«Ö±²¥â€˜s Roddick Gates. 

The library entrance is located on the 3rd floor of the and leads immediately to the 3^rd-floor Service Desk. 

• Approach and entrance:
  • Enter from the Elizabeth Wirth Music Building
    • 527 Sherbrooke St W (2 manual/automatic doors with push-to-open button activation that open outward)
    • Staircase located to the right of the entrance
    • Ramp leading to elevators to the left of the entrance. These elevators provide access to the 3^rd-floor library entrance, while the 4^th and 5th floors are accessible only via an internal elevator.
  • Doors to the library are secured in an open position during opening hours
• Elevators: 1 internal elevator, 1135 kg capacity
  • Operates between all 3 floors of the library (floors 3-5)
  • Floor indication: visual and audible
    • Visual indications: clear, brightly coloured floor numbers and arrows for up or down direction
    • Audible indications: in both English and French, stating which floor you are on and whether the elevator is going up or down
  • Braille: on all interior elevator buttons and emergency two-way communication system
• Stairs: 1 staircase, 3 flights
  • Slip-resistant surface
  • Handrails on both sides
