Abstract

CCGHR is an organization that promotes equity in health by providing a platform for students and professionals to engage in topics related to global health research. CCGHR promotes the distribution and production of knowledge by coordinating its student chapters, advocating for change in policy, facilitating country partnerships, and providing many other programs.

The ��ɫֱ�� Journal of Global Health is a peer-reviewed, student-run publication that seeks to amplify global health issues, topics at the intersection of social, biomedical, environmental, global, and local perspectives on health, and the interdisciplinary health research being done by ��ɫֱ�� students. Past issues can also be found online.

Our goals are to provide a platform for students to express their work and views, and a forum for our writers and editors to develop their skills.

Language barriers limit healthcare access. However, professional interpretation usage is infrequent due to high cost and poor interpreter availability. Healthcare-oriented mobile applications are becoming more accepted and may help alleviate this burden. This literature review aims to better understand the utility of mobile technology in healthcare interpretation.
