I will also s hare the aims and design for a recently funded R01 to examine the causal e ffects of extreme weather on HIV care outcomes around the globe.\n\nLearni ng Objectives\n\nAt the completion of this talk\, attendees will be able t o:\n\n\n To understand the structure\, scope and design of the global IeDEA network of HIV care cohorts\;\n To appreciate the potential for applicatio ns of quasiexperimental methods to address causal research questions aroun d HIV care outcomes\;\n To become oriented to the climate-related data sour ces that can be used to create exposure variables to assess the influence of extreme weather on HIV care outcomes.\n\n\nSpeaker Bio\n\nDenis Nash is Distinguished Professor of Epidemiology at the CUNY Graduate School of Pu blic Health & Health Policy in the City University of New York. Nash is th e founding executive director of the CUNY Institute for Implementation Sci ence in Population Health. He is also the associate director of the NIH-fu nded Einstein\, Rockefeller\, CUNY Center for AIDS Research (CFAR).
