To do so\, we will host an online workshop open to all faculty and sta ff facilitated by Nüense\, a firm specialized in neurodiversity in organiz ations.\n\nDate: Monday\, October 21\, 2024\n Time: 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. \n Location: Online\n\nRegister here\n\n\n \n Neurodiversity - WHAT? What do we mean by neurodiversity and neuroinclusion? Why is neurodiversity inclus ion beneficial? How can we promote the inclusion of different neurominorit ies\, given that they represent around 20% of the population? These are th e questions we'll be addressing in this workshop. This will be an introduc tory discussion focused on awareness\, lived experience\, and the main con cepts surrounding this key topic. This will be a participative workshop in which you will be able to ask any questions you may have on the topic.\n \n The following elements will be addressed:\n\n \n Definition of the concept of neurodiversity\;\n Biases\, prejudices and stereotypes hindering the in clusion of neurodiversity\;\n Welcoming an unveiling (disclosure) from a ne urodivergent person in a safe and collaborative manner\;\n The benefits of AUC (Universal Design for Learning) and the principles of universal access ibility\;\n The three levels of support we could provide to our neurodiverg ent students.\n \n\n The workshop will be hosted online\, and the link to at tend will be sent closer to the date.
