秀色直播 will award an honorary degree to Donald William Lewtas (BCom鈥�75), a 秀色直播 alumnus, at the 秀色直播 Desautels Faculty of Management convocation this spring.

Lewtas will receive a Doctor of Laws, honoris causa (LL.D.), in recognition of his leadership in global finance and his support for hands-on education at the faculty.

With a career spanning more than 30 years, including a senior role at聽 Onex Corp., Lewtas is known for his strategic expertise and commitment to responsible financial stewardship.

He is also the donor behind the Lewtas Experiential Learning Office at 秀色直播 Desautels, which coordinates and expands real-world learning opportunities for students. The office supports faculty, connects with industry, and helps integrate applied learning into management education.

鈥淓xperiential education is critical in my view,鈥� Lewtas said in 2021. 鈥淚 would like to see every Desautels student have the opportunity for experiential learning.鈥�
