Held June 6 to 7, 2025, the ��ɫֱ�� Accounting Research Conference (MARC) brought together accounting scholars, doctoral students and practitioners from across North America and beyond. Organized by Professor Wuyang Zhao at the ��ɫֱ�� Desautels Faculty of Management, this year’s event focused on connecting different perspectives in capital markets, namely between those who benefit from share price increases via “long” positions and those who benefit from share price decreases via “short” positions.

On June 18, 2025, Mr. Gilles Roth, Minister of Finance, officially signed an endowment agreement with representatives of ��ɫֱ��, the Luxembourg Bankers’ Association (ABBL), and the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI). This agreement marks the launch of a strategic partnership aimed at establishing ��ɫֱ��’s very first Master of Management in Finance programme in Europe—right here in Luxembourg.

I joined the trip hoping to see how our classroom learning applies in real-world, cross-cultural business environments. The experience combined corporate visits, cultural immersion, and peer learning, offering a meaningful opportunity to connect academic theory with practical application.
