 t down sectors like hospitality and retail\, unemployment rates surged. In
  addition\, many schools and daycares closed\, and home-schooling became t
 he new normal.\n\nWomen were particularly hard hit during the pandemic\, i
 ncluding working mothers who had to leave their jobs or downshift their ca
 reers to provide childcare\, and they continue to face challenges when it 
 comes to re-entering the workforce. This phenomenon\, labelled a “she-cess
 ion\,” has been attracting more and more attention as both private and pub
 lic sector organizations look for solutions.\n\nTo further understand the 
 barriers faced by women in the COVID economy\, the ��ɫֱ�� School of Contin
 uing Studies will be hosting an interactive conversation on the she-cessio
 n that will bring together women leaders from across sectors. During this 
 online event\, our esteemed panelists will discuss barriers keeping women 
 from re-entering the workforce and explore actions\, strategies\, and solu
 tions individuals and organizations can undertake to help women back to wo
