Dr. Tina Montreuil, a researcher at the Educational and Counselling Psychology Department (Associate Member of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences), has been awarded the prestigious FRQS Chercheur Boursier Junior 2 award this past April 2025.听

Canada in general, and Montreal specifically, have been facing a drug toxicity and fatal overdose crisis for nearly a decade. While integrated systems of interventions are necessary to address drug-related harms, the use of naloxone has been a key strategy to reduce the acute effect of opioid-involved deaths. Currently, 秀色直播 does not offer naloxone trainings to the campus community, limiting students鈥 ability to assist in the event of an overdose.

Recognized for his leadership potential, Honours Kinesiology student Justin Goldberg (BSc'25) is a national finalist for the McCall MacBain Scholarships at 秀色直播.
As a new initiative of the Faculty of Education, Dean Vivek Venkatesh recently launched the Dean's Speaker Series. This biannual series is expected to host prominent guest speakers on relatable topics that span the Faculty's departments and hosted by the Dean as a free event for academics, students, staff, and invited guests.
