Professor Ehrlicher's project aims to explore how mechanical forces, such as compression of the nucleus, affect cellular aging and stem cell differentiation, particularly in Hutchinson-Gilford Progeria Syndrome (HGPS). Join an interdisciplinary team of undergraduate students to develop a synthetic biology project over the course of a year. Composed of students from the Bioengineering program and various disciplines within the Faculty of Science, Ðãɫֱ²¥ iGEM team is supervised by Prof. Codruta Ignea and Prof. Lisa Munter.
